Best crypto wallet?

I am new to crypto. I want a non custodial digital wallet where I will be able to safely store my assets that I invest in from other apps. I originally considered just using Robin Hood but I changed my mind since I want full control over my coins. I’ve read through a lot of suggestions on this sub and I’ve tried a lot of them but non have worked, and I don’t know what to believe anymore. I don’t trust CoinBase, Exodus or TrustWallet. I’m mainly interested in storing bitcoin, a few cryptos and a few stocks that I invest in weekly from apps like kraken. I’ll also be using this app just from my phone. any ideas?
