Are tokenized assets like gold or real estate practical for long-term investing?

I’m thinking about putting some money into tokenized real-world assets, but I’m not sure how they perform over the long term compared to traditional options. Things like digital gold or tokenized property seem interesting because you can own a share without dealing with physical storage or management.
