Hey all, I'm in a really weird place right now in terms of financial aid. This semester my college readjusted the financial aid they give me (I'm at Mizzou, so Chancellor's Award) because they told me the total financial aid I received (I go through Vocational Rehabilitation) had exceeded the cost of attendance. The problem is that this left me with a past student balance ($1300) that is being considered noneducational by Mizzou so my sponsor can't pay this off. The only option I have to do that is to take out a private student loan, but when i submitted my application, I realized that my financial aid exceeded my estimated COA. I'm worried that it wont go through because of that, and I have no other way to pay it off in time if it doesn't. Mizzou is blocking enrollment for sophomore year and threatening to cancel this semesters classes. Any ideas?
