My fiancé just opened a chase sapphire preferred and added me as an authorized user! What are some tips to maximize the benefits of the card? I want to get as much out of it as we can!

Without knowing more about your habits and what monthly spend looks like, it’s hard for anyone to give you specific advice but here’s a few generic ones:
Online groceries work with Kroger pay so Kroger and any of their subsidies.
Browse through Chase Offers regularly to see if there’s any good deals. There’s so good deals from time to time.
Use for car rentals to get primary insurance and decline CDW at the counter.
Book flights and hotels through the portal when you can… flights tend to be equal or similar price to booking direct or through third party websites when i looked. Book on chase to get 5x points.
After he hits the sign up bonus, he should refer you to get the card so you can earn the sub and he gets a referral bonus.
After getting SUB in first year this card is fairly lackluster due to limited reward categories. There are better no AF cards that cover dining and travel. if your SO gets this card next that will cover 2 years of benefits.
Definitely use the $120 Door Dash credit and take advantage of the free dash pass. For the monthly credit, you’ll get the most value by doing pickup vs delivery. Link your card to Lyft for 5X. Link your Lyft account to your new Door Dash account and you’ll get discounts on your rides in addition to the 5X.
Keep an eye on when Chases transfer partners are doing transfer bonuses. Right now there’s a 20% transfer bonus to British Airways (ends 3/31)
You can turn the $95 AF to a $45 AF every year by booking a refundable hotel, getting the hotel credit, then refunding the hotel.
