Higher oil prices from war with Iran threaten global economy

    As the war with Iran continues to rage in the Middle East, the rising cost of oil is pushing up the price of gas and other major categories like groceries, along with threatening the global economy more broadly. NBC News’ Brian Cheung explains.

    1. Trump thinks the US is immune from rising oil prices for non-WTI crude. But consider electric power generators China makes; maybe they will be cut back from US markets to send to Iran instead? What of the factory making widgets in South Korea that the US needs that was forced to shut down due to lack of fuel in South Korea. It's an integrated global economy.
