I've been in Bitcoin for a few years now and at some point I stopped thinking in BTC and switched to sats entirely. For me it just makes more sense — saying "I own 500,000 sats" feels more tangible than "I own 0.005 BTC."

But I remember when I started out, sats weren't even on my radar. I was always looking at the BTC price and trying to wrap my head around decimals. So for those of you still relatively early in your journey, how do you think about it? Do you track your holdings in BTC or sats? Does the 8 decimal places thing confuse you or are you used to it?

Curious because I think the unit people use actually affects how they feel about their stack. Owning "50,000 of something" just hits different psychologically than "0.0005 of something.

Do you think in sats or Bitcoin? Genuinely curious how beginners approach the unit.
