If we transitioned to renewables we would have no reason to meddle in middle eastern politics, and no reason to start fossil fuel wars, and no need to destroy the climate.
But the super rich can’t monopolise the wind and the sun. They can’t make the vast profits they can with oil and gas. So we’re back to destroying the climate and endangering life on Earth. Capitalism is killing us.
