E-4, generating roughly 5000 a month after taxes. I get BAH + BAS.
Rent – $2000
Food – about $650
Car Insurance + Gas – $300
Haircuts – $80
Phone plan – $60
Internet – $70
Electricity – around $90-130
TSP – $1300
I don't know how you guys are surviving out here

That’s a lot of TSP. I mean good on you but you’re probably contributing more than the average E7 and they’re making a lot more.
Please confirm you are using Roth TSP.
Your budget shows remarkably high savings. If your goal is early retirement that is outstanding, but it totally can stretch the budget.
You’re investing about a quarter of your earnings into TSP. That’s a hefty lift that few are willing to make work, of course you’re feeling the pinch.
