Before, I treated investing as a small hobby. I'd occasionally check the market, and making a few hundred dollars would make me happy. But now? This market is a complete joke. No, it's a scam. It's the kind of scam where you know the bookmakers are manipulating things behind the scenes, but you still cling to the hope that "maybe this time it'll be my turn," obediently handing over your money.
A single tweet from Trump can change everything.
I'm really starting to ask myself, what am I doing here?
I'm just that ordinary fool, occasionally getting a small windfall to make me think, "Hey, maybe I'm not so stupid after all," and then staying at the gambling table, waiting to be fleeced again. My friend says I'm overthinking it, but I really feel this market was never intended for ordinary people to win from the start. Those insiders, those institutions, they already have the winds, the inside information, and the trump cards we'll never get. We're just here to make up the numbers, to provide liquidity.
Honestly, do you guys feel the same way? Or am I the only one getting deeper and deeper into this mess, feeling both ridiculous and pathetic?
