Recently, I applied for an American Express Business Gold card in Europe.
Lately, I’ve been needing to purchase inventory in advance of delivering my services, so I can operate smoothly and not miss opportunities. Sometimes the amounts are around €500, other times up to €3,000.
Because of this, I decided to get a credit card with enough flexibility to cover these short-term expenses, since I usually get paid back within 24–48 hours after spending.
I’ve been approved and the card is on its way.
My question is: how much overdraft or spending limit do I start with on the Business Gold card?

It’s a no-preset-spending limit charge card everywhere I’m aware of, so they won’t tell you. They have a tool to check before a big purchase though.
