dude arm making their own chips is actually huge, they’ve been sitting on the sidelines collecting royalties while everyone else does the heavy lifting. now they’re jumping into the ring themselves and potentially competing with their own licensees lmao
been watching this space since i got burned on some nvidia calls last year, but arm’s positioning looks solid here. the ai chip market is exploding and if they can leverage their existing relationships while also going direct to market that’s a pretty sweet spot. gonna be interesting to see how nvidia and qualcomm react when their chip supplier becomes their competitior
might throw some of my doordash money at some arm calls if the iv isn’t completley insane tomorrow

Do they actually have the know how?😅
I thought they are just holding the licenses and that’s their whole business?
No idea if they are able to compete with apple and Qualcomm.

By the time ARM chips are into production there is a chancs NVDA chips would be deployed to every data center and institutions will start to pressure AI companies for ROI.
Semi conductors has always been rotational play. But this AI cycle is causing high demand for chips for longer time. I am not sure if the demand for chips will continue for a decade or more.

ARM going from royalties to competing with their own customers is insane.
Anyway I lost money on NVDA so I’m buying ARM calls
