I'm opening a family entertainment center with trampoline parks, climbing walls and obstacle courses. These are all high risk, high activity areas and I need help with insurance.

I am going to look into general liability and property insurance but I'm not sure if that's enough. What does a proper insurance program look like for this type of facility? Thanks

    1. First off, this will be hard to get and take time plus be expensive. So go ahead and be ready to be patient and answer a lot of questions. Yes, you’ll need general liability and property. I highly recommend to get high med payout as well- $10k plus for the limit, but probably closer to $25-$30k.

It would also be worth your while to get an umbrella quote as well. Probably $2M plus. All it takes is for someone to break their neck and die for you to be absolutely screwed and needing the most coverage. Do not cheap out on this.

Also, you’re going to want a written safety program and procedures, and maybe want employees who are certified somehow for the rock climbing stuff. Like for belaying as an example.
