I know this sounds incredibly degenerate, but I literally have a calendar on my wall dedicated entirely to when major exchanges launch their birthday promos.

If you have a decent trading volume, you are leaving free money on the table by ignoring these events. KuCoin, Binance, BitMart… every year they drop ridiculous prize pools to farm engagement.

Here is my strategy: I wait for these anniversary events (BitMart's 8th anniversary is running right now, for example), and I consolidate my weekly swing trades onto that specific platform for the duration of the event. I’m not increasing my risk or trading just to trade. I’m simply executing my normal strategy on the platform that is currently rewarding volume. By hitting basic volume metrics that I would have hit anyway, I end up securing airdrops, trading fee rebates, and token vouchers.

It takes a little bit of organization to track the requirements, but it drastically lowers my overall trading friction costs for the year. Stop ignoring the banner ads on your apps and start treating these promos like the free expected value that they are.
