Hey everyone! 👋
I’ve been working on a new project in the Web3 gaming space that’s a little different from the usual, and I’d really love some honest feedback from this community.
It’s called PlayOrbs – a physics-based arena game where every outcome is fully deterministic. That means no mid-round RNG shenanigans, no hidden dice rolls – if you play a round the same way, you’ll get the same result every time. Everything is reproducible, skill-based, and transparent.
The vision behind PlayOrbs is to break away from the typical farm-and-dump loops we see in so many Web3 games. Instead, we’re focusing on pure gameplay, player skill, and replayability. I want it to feel like a game you actually want to get better at and come back to, rather than just a grind for tokens.
We’re still in the early stages, actively testing with real players and iterating fast based on feedback. This is why I’m turning to this community – your thoughts can genuinely shape the direction of the game.
What I’d love to know:
Does this deterministic, skill-focused approach resonate with you?
Do you see potential for a game like this in the Web3 space?
If you’re curious or want to try it out, here’s the link: app.playorbs.com
I’d really appreciate any feedback, even if it’s brutally honest. Thanks for taking the time to check it out! 🚀
Happy to answer questions / take feedback 🙌
Built a game on Solana + ICP and I am curious if this actually has legs
