    Best credit card for Costco

    I've been using my Venture X for all of Costco shopping which gets 2x Capital One miles. However, I just got the Robinhood Gold card (Visa) which gets 3x cash back.

    Which do you think is better? Is there another better card for Costco out there?

    We spend about $500 per month on Costco.

      Chase Ink Cash using Staples Mastercard/Visa giftcards can yield 5% back.

      Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards buying gift cards from [costco.com](http://costco.com) can yield 3% to 8.25% and putting it in your Costco wallet.

      Its like this.. how much value do you assign to Cap One Miles? 1 Cpp? Then RH Gold is better. If 1.5 CPP then both are equal. If 1.75 CPP then Venture X is better than RH Gold.

      So which is better depends on how much value you assign to Cap One miles as these are apples and oranges.

      I would use the Robinhood Gold over VentureX. Points have declined in value, and Capital One has the lowest value points out of the major points credit cards.

      If all you want to do is swipe a card and be done nothing beat the RobinHood if you have it. It and the AAA card are the only ones that get 3%.

      Every other simple option (except BOA PRE) caps at ~2%.

      Depends on how you value miles vs cashback. Personally use the Robinhood Gold and it’s been great

      BoA CCR -> Costco GC -> Costco Wallet, works for both warehouses and gas stations.

      I don’t have it or recommend it necessarily but doesn’t venmo card get 3% there too without needing gift cards or anything else?

      I use paypal debit for 5%. Just need to select groceries and that works in warehouse and online. But some say it doesn’t work the warehouse so I been getting costco giftcard online and spent it when I get there. I’m sure paypal will remove this eventually so this isn’t long term lol.

      Venmo Visa from Synchrony gives 3% cash back at Costco if groceries are your top monthly spend category.

      – PayPal Debit MasterCard (5% until nerf)
      – Robinhood Gold (3%)
