First credit card for travel

I’m starting my first post-grad job very soon, and I have a vacation planned ~6 weeks after my start date. I have no credit history, but I was hoping to get a card that I can use on vacation. I know some nicer cards have great perks for the first month of use, but I was wondering if the same applies for some of the more “basic” ones (ex/ extra points on dining out).
