Need a clarity of Bike insurance

Hi,

I am having Yamaha Fascino and i bought the bike couple of yrs of back and got the some random insurance recommended by the showroom sales guy.
Now mine is expired planning to subscribe to one.
Need a clarity on what kind of insurance I have to opt for and what are the things I have to look into ?? and how is the cliam ratio works and. If I had very minor accident like my bike fell down when its being parked and mirror or indicator broken.
can we claim that also.
