This is unfortunately how global markets work. Sure it isn’t fair that everyone has to pay for the US’s fuck up, but that’s just how it works. It’s not like the old days where you can send out gunboats to defend your own supply chains, and for the most part your imperial market was insulated from outside shocks. Now, everyone is in the same boat. There are downsides and upsides to both an imperialist and globalist market from ones own perspective, and unfortunately we’re living in a period where the downsides to globalism are clear as day because the US seem insistent to act as economic terrorists right now to distract from domestic Epstein issue at home and nobody is willing to stand up to them.
