CNN and Business Insider aren’t displaying the correct Brent price, for me at least… Anyone else?
I don't understand what's happening.

CNN is reporting lower. Business Insider loads the high price then forces a refresh to the lower price. Oilprices.com shows the high price.
All 4 screenshots taken moments apart.

Dude, just read what future oil contracts are. Left one is showing Jun brent oil contract while the right one is May contract.

None of these are going to right. The all come from different sources and none of these are real time. The exchange websites are good but clunky. CNBCs CL1 (the front month, currently for May 1 delivery) would be more current but still delayed. I use investing.com’s app because while not perfect, it’s a better representation of the price and order flow in real time.

It’s the may and June contracts. We are close to month end when the may contracts won’t be available anymore, so some outlets start showing next months contract which is lower.

Not surprised about receiving fake news from some of those outlets.

Bro don’t use news websites for charts
This is the only chart you should have in front of you: [https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/ICEEUR-BRN1!/](https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/ICEEUR-BRN1!/) (and [maybe the Jet Fuel chart](https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/ICEEUR-ULS1!/), too)
