Heading over to Dollar General soon. Need some counter cleaning spray, bleach, Coke, salty snacks, something with chocolate, candy, etc.
What do you guys like from there? What is Dollar General known for anyway? Like what good deals do they have? I'm looking for a 12 pack of Coke and I don't wanna pay an arm and a leg ! I usually go to Dollar Tree. They usually have good deals on candy hair accessories, etc. Thank you!

The only good deal is the 5 off 25 on Saturdays
The Dollar General near me has a $1 aisle. I get toothpaste, soap, sponges, cleaning supplies and all kinds of stuff in the $1 aisle. It’s like a little miniature dollar store and then I’m grab the regular priced coffee, snacks, paper towels.
Dollar General sucks, along with the other dollar stores. They are almost always a worse deal by weight than grocery stores, it’s how they stay profitable. And they’re economically terrible for the low-income places they inhabit.
