We were safe already. Iran has never done anything to me. Do I like their government and their behavior towards their own people? No. But I also don’t like our government it’s behavior towards us.
Instead of sending billions to attack Iran they could have spent that money on building our own “iron dome” or whatever on US Soil. Or they could have made more US citizen feel “safe” by giving us universal healthcare. That would save millions of lives in the long term.
