I just bought a 2,900 sq ft two-story house in Southern California with tons of windows—gets brutal hot. Been here since January; first bill ~700 kWh, second ~900 kWh even with AC barely on 3 hours/day. Tesla charging at home adds more, and summer’s gonna spike it way up.
