Hey all,

I’m a long-time lurker here and recently, after being laid off from Tech, I found myself with time on my hands and going down the rabbit hole of early retirement scenarios like:

    • What happens if I retire into a 2008-style crash?
    • How sensitive is my plan to inflation spikes?
    • How much cash buffer do I actually need?

Most calculators I tried felt either too simplistic or too opaque, so I ended up building my own tool:

It’s basically a FIRE simulator that lets you:

    • Run different retirement scenarios
    • Stress test your plan against historical data
    • See how long your money lasts under different assumptions

I’m still actively improving it and would really value feedback from this community.

    Specifically curious about:

    • What feels missing?
    • Anything confusing or unintuitive?
    • What scenarios you wish you could simulate but can’t?

There's no signup or anything, I'm not trying to promote this right now. I'm genuinely trying to make something useful.

    Appreciate any thoughts 🙏

Created a FIRE Simulator and would love to get some feedback.
