IHG card is a sleeper. Which hotel brand do you prefer? Do you prefer budget stays or aspirational stays?

Hilton is all Amex

Wyndham is Barclays if I recall. Choice card is Wells Fargo and Amex has some
Marriott cards. Any reason you don’t want a Chase card?

Hilton is amex (inc the aspire, which is an amazing card for luxury travel), and Amex also a marriott line.
Wyndham is barclays, Choice is Wells Fargo.
The IHG card is really good since it gives plat status, which gives the ability to get upgrades (ymmv), 40k free night, and 4th night free. Also if you spend 40k on the card, you can get diamond.
With IHG program, the value is from buying the points at 0.5 cpp during points sales, which are often. Also the sign up bonuses are big, but the value of each point aren’t as high. It’s not as flashy as Hyatt or Hilton, but it is very reliable.
The best western card and program isn’t as compelling as the other programs.
