Is Europe heading to an energy crisis? | Counting the Cost

It diversified energy supplies, built LNG terminals and reduced its dependence on Russia.

Europe thought it had learned its lesson after the war in Ukraine.
But today it’s facing another energy shock.

And this time it may be even worse, as the war in Iran disrupts supply through the Strait of Hormuz.

It’s happening when EU gas reserves are unusually low.

That means Europe will be competing with Asia to fill its storage tanks, which might force the price of LNG even higher.

    Electricity bills are climbing.

    Industry is under pressure.

Governments are stepping in to cushion the blow.

    2. European Union crazy totally because they want war 😅 don't care people who's working hard 😂😂 just getting money from country people and giving in war 🎉🎉🎉

    3. Will on my openion, must gathering all prisedent to agree everyone to stop the war.Make them peace each other , so no more crisis happen.❤
      In Allah welling .

    4. Kaja Kallas gave her husbands company half million eur loan to fund his business with russia. Same time Kallas was saying that everyone needs to stop doing business with russia. she can in no way be trusted.

    5. No one to blame, but the USA. Think USA most likely blew up Nordstream-2 pipeline (at least that's what I believe until I see overwhelming prove against this), now they launch attack on Iran.

    6. Switching the energy dependency from Russian pipeline gas with the shipped LNG from US, on behalf of higher morality.- what an idiopathic decision. Maybe a deeper US persuasion for a proxy war.
Van der Leynen meets a decision not for it's benefit but for :"how much would this harm Russia", making impossible any pragmatic solutions.

    7. The European Commission is largely responsible for the energy crisis in the EU countries. It has endemic russophobia, and is pouring money into Ukraine (not our war, again it is a clash between US and Russia). Ukraine has 8 corruption cases running against high officials of the government. Cases the Ukrainian authorities are investigating, it's not a Russia invention. And VDL (with corruption cases running against her, see Pfeizergate) wants to give Ukraine an extra 90 million which will be paid by us. The European Commission insistence raises the question of corruption again.
