    ADDITIONAL INFO

My primary CC has been cancelled twice in the last year due to fraud alerts. Being without a card while waiting for replacement made me realize that I should have a backup card. I do not carry a balance. Ideally, the backup would have a good SUB, good cash back (2% min), and no annual fee. It would be nice if the issuer also had decent customer service.

Any 2% catch-all. Pick between Wells Fargo Active Cash, Citi Double Cash, Fidelity Rewards, PNC Cash Unlimited, TD Double Up, or Navy Federal cashRewards+. There are way more out there, those are just the more popular choices. My personal recommendation is the Wells Fargo Active Cash, they’ve been good to me over the years and haven’t given me any trouble.
