My wife is caught up in this bullshit via the PAYE (Pay As You Earn) and it's a total rug pull breach of contract. She's at about 15 years into the 20 year forgiveness but also has so many different loans. Like 7 if she consolidates them, it starts over. If they don't honor it she'll have 7 different payments to make! That is not what she signed up for, it's absolutely a breach of the contract on their end! Also because the hospital in VT that she works for doesn't follow the new DEI guidelines it's doesn't even qualify as legitimate place for public service loan forgiveness.

I think we need a class action lawsuit against this serious breach of contract and with enough people speaking out and joining a lawsuit we may get somewhere. Can everyone that is interested in joining in please let me know and if there are enough of us maybe we can go to an attorney and actually do something about this! I'd enough people comment I can add an email address or something we can all band together from.

    Thanks

the consolidation thing is such a scam – they know exactly what theyre doing when they reset that clock

your wife’s situation with 7 different payments if PAYE falls through is nightmare fuel. i’d be interested in hearing more about what kind of attorney would even take this on since student loan stuff seems like such a regulatory mess
