I see countless posts on twitter about how AI made them so much money or “do these prompts to make over $100,000” etc.
Has anyone really scored big yet from using these tools?
Or are these people just trying to get exposure?
Is this really true or are they just giving out fluff (AI question)

If people really had prompts which could make over $100,000, they wouldn’t be selling them to you for $16 bucks, they’d be making over $100,000 with the prompts.
If they had a 100k prompt , would it be rational to sell it for 2k ? Now I’m not saying that some prompts help you make money but not to the point of 100k overnight.
Have people made money with AI? Absolutely. It doesn’t necessarily mean you will if you buy their course. I’ve seen too many people do something with AI, have an ounce of success with it, and immediately rush to build the course. Courses are making more than Ai is.
I’ve been wondering the same. It feels like there’s a lot of noise around it, and it’s hard to tell what’s actually real vs just people trying to get attention. I’m sure there are real use cases, but probably not as simple as it’s made out to be.
They are simply selling the shovels in the gold rush.
Anyway, not falsifiable claims.
most of it is fluff, but not all of it, people are making money with AI, just not in the way those posts make it sound, it’s usually boring stuff, freelancing, automations for small businesses, content pipelines, niche tools, not some magic prompt that prints cash. the viral posts are optimized for attention, so they exaggerate outcomes and hide the grind behind it. real edge comes from combining AI with a specific skill or distribution, not just using the tool itself
so yeah, skepticism is valid, but writing it off completely would also be a mistake
Man, those posts are the new version of scam.
There are plenty of good uses for AI tools that help you make more or save more money.
The people pitching the things you’re describing tend to be the ones who aren’t so much making money using that system as they are the ones who (try to) make that kind of money by selling these systems.
The secret that all the get rich quick secret sellers is that they are trying to get rich selling so-called secrets. And they may be honest – this system they had may have actually made them $100K – but that hundred grand most likely made its money in sales of itself, not in actually using the system to make said money.
It’s not new – the term “Snake Oil” came about in the 1890’s. And the strategy certainly predated that name.

“Least amount of effort producing maximum revenue” is the oldest scam not only since the internet. The scam works because every generation produces a novelty, such as AI in this generation , Blockchain, Crypto, Real estate mortgages, internet bubble, etc etc etc
