Hi guys

Im 18 and I was recently admitted to my state school and a T15 school for finance. I’m considering taking out the loans (150k) for the T15 since it was my dream school and I hate my state school, but I’ve heard about how horrible student loans are. I’m a finance/engineering prospective major.

How bad are loans really? My parents are immigrants and don’t really help me with much so I’d need to pay them back on my own. What do they limit?

    Thank you

150K for an undergrad degree is outrageous. Go to a cheaper school. My household has 270K of student loans. We pay $2000 A month, and that will probably increase when we get off of SAVE. Go local.

Maybe I should add that the T15 college I was admitted to is rank 2 for what I want to do in the future
