Hi, thank you for reading.
On Friday the 17th, I got a call from a representative at Geico letting me know that due to my estimate, my car has been deemed a total loss. She provided me with the exact repair amount, the repair value of my car, and the amount I am to receive. I even signed the documents that day to confirm the transfer of title and the settlement.
However, today I got a message from another representative stating that she is now working on my case since my vehicle is ”deemed a total loss” and now she just has to confirm it’s a total loss by seeing the full market value for the vehicle. Then, she’ll send me documentation to sign. However, I thought we already went over that?
I’m so confused, is this normal ?

When you told the second rep that you had already gotten a call about the total loss payout and they sent you documents to sign…..what did they say?
You will have your regular adjuster and there will be a separate total loss adjuster. Just pay attention to who communication is coming from to avoid confusion.
