Got myself some free Chipotle just off the basis of scanning receipts to claim the points in their app. I’ve done the same for others like Starbucks to collect points retroactively. This is usually by seeing receipts littered on the street or by asking people if I see them if they still want their receipt. I find this has been a fun way to get free food and drink especially in this economy.
I started collecting receipts from places with loyalty programs that people don’t want and log points with it.

Be careful doing this. If those companies find out you’re doing it, they will trespass/ban you.
I didn’t know you can scan receipts to get points in Chipotle’s loyalty program. I thought you have to scan your barcode at the cash register or order from the app while logged into your account.
