Even if we do end it, Iran is now in a stronger position than when we left; it controls the Strait, proved it can make the US stand down, and now has a hardened and consolidated regime that will be even *more* antagonistic against US interests…because they just got proof that it works.

And why is still be called war? Nothing about it has come close to resembling war. The US and Israel went in unprovoked, Iran just, minding its own damn business when the attack began.

News is hyping up Trump saying. “We’ll just leave the strait closed and end the war by pulling out of the middle east, let everyone else force it open.”
And. “President of Iran says hes open to negotiating.”
Key points from the president of Iran though.
1. Its not up to him, its up to the Supreme leader and IRGC.
2. He’s already said he demands payments for all damage and for full sanctions relief and to pursue whatever nuclear objective they want and USA has no say in anything.
Essentially, people are using these two and trying to market manipulate to lower oil and raise the market. Oil went down to 101 from 104 and its already going up. And the dow jumped 900 points, but it will probably be much lower as people realize this is just Trump manipulating the market again.

Have we learned yet that market manipulation is real. The pandora box has been opened and no “thoughts and prayers” are going to reverse the destruction to the future prospects of US companies.
Unless a severe devaluation in the USD is being priced into stock prices there is no way the future value of the S&P 500 is stronger today than 2024. So we have not seen a correction and nowhere near the bottom of this mess.
