Are CoreCivic and GEO Group stock worth it in the long term?

I am wondering how dependent they are to changes in presidential administrations since Biden put in an order to end them, Newsom is ending contracts in California.

Wondering what happens after the midterms, and if there is a blue wave, would the Dens have power over Trump to end contracts? If not, maybe worth investing into continued human suffering.
