Iran have nothing to loose. If Trump comes with troops, then they have a 1 mio army waiting in the mountains. If he bombs energy and water, then Iran does the same to all gulf states.
They can just wait and find out a reasonable price for letting ships go through.

The biggest thing that came out today is Iran saying there will be no cease fire before a final agreement, and the peace deal requires Israel to make peace with Hezbollah, good luck with that. Obviously these are maximalist demands but the US and Iran are miles away from an agreement.
