We are going through historic times, make no mistake.
Just as the world was dealing with immense economic catastrophe that was Covid, Russia invaded Ukraine and region supplying 20% of world’s food supply succumbed into bitter and one of the bloodiest wars of our history.
That spiked food prices everywhere.
Then 7th of October happened and another bloody episode erupted in Middle East as it got followed by widespread war.
Now we have Trump-Iran war, between an autocratic regime in Iran and poorly planned and poorly executed attack by Trump who did not consult a single ally, outcome is the closure of Hurmuz and full consequences are yet to hit us as gulf countries are struggling to store or transport their oil to rest if the world.
A sane man leading USA would cease all attacks immediately and seek diplomatic solution but we know that’s not gonna happen.
So far Americans lost 4 F-15s, 2 tanker planes that fuel jets in the air, 1 F-35 got hit, 1 aircraft career got hit, 1 THAAD radar worth billions got destroyed and can’t be replaced, 2 AWACS radar command planes for destroyed on the ground and that’s only what’s made public.
U.S. coped more than a black eye from this and to make matters worse for the whole planet instead of doing damage control and backpedaling, they are doubling down by sending 3000 troops as vanguard for a ground invasion.
I do hope this madness ends before it gets worse but somehow I feel in my bones that’s not what’s about to happen. This is going to make the oil
Situation so much worse.
Anyone think this isn’t going to go away anytime soon and in fact is about to escalate and not stop for the foreseeable future?

I wouldn’t bet on it either way because if the conflict escalates and drags out it would lead straight to recession. I have to assume the US wouldn’t nuke itself that hard.
If Iran accepts a deal there is no more Iran.
If Iran accepts a deal my oil companies will dip -10-15%.
This is a risk im willing to take how about the Iranian people? Time will tell.
You can’t ceasefire solely takes two to Tango. The whole market move is pure fake just before the easter break before it escalates more.
Hell yeah, frankly, its rare for wars to end within 1 – 2months. Look at Ukraine and how that turned out
It feels like Donny is trying very hard to be like “Ope, it’s over, mission accomplished, we are going home, etc”
We can’t really escalate this without $200 oil, and if we abandon it, doesn’t seem to fix the problem either.
At least from what I’ve read we don’t really have any bargaining chips here? We essentially gave Iran a gift of being justified to take control of the straight. Art of the deal.
Flipping everything upside down and backwards provides the truth.
Trump is such an idiot. He’s used to being able to manipulate media by causing a new outrage and making everyone look the other way. I mean, look at what the war did to the Epstein coverage.
But this isn’t a scandal. It’s an international conflict that’s involved many countries. He can’t just turn the page and he’s trying to so fucking bad.
The Iranian leadership is nothing to admire. But it is strikingly obvious that they are more intelligent than our own. This isn’t ending any time soon
