Rick Santelli is a true champion for the retail investor. During Squawk Box this morning, Rick made a PSA warning all retail investors about private credit investments becoming available to the retail investors. He pretty much said it is all crap and the only reason the retail investor will have access is because the institutional investors and don’t want it anymore. So the investment banks package private credit into publicly available investments with a pretty bow (20 basis points) on top, pump it up with a lot of fake press and PR and sell to all of us regards. Run away folks! Because when you open that box, you will find it is full of stinky BS the ultra wealthy don’t want.
