Been using Ethereum for years and I'm still bullish, but L2s are starting to feel like their own little islands. Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, ZkSync each has its own liquidity, its own bridges, its own quirks.
Moving between them still feels clunky. Sometimes I wonder if we solved high fees but created a new problem: fragmentation.
Curious how others see this. Are we heading toward a unified L2 experience or is this just how it's going to be?
Is Ethereum L2 fragmentation getting worse or am I overthinking it?
