Meanwhile, EU energy ministers held an urgent meeting to address the crisis. The bloc’s energy commissioner warned members to prepare for prolonged supply problems and urged them to reduce domestic demand.

well, this is one way to achieve climate change objectives.

Pay the transit fee Iran is asking for.

EU should shut down factories. Corporations and factories are evil capitalistic institutions of exploitation of workers. All people should receive minimum basic income and corporations should be made to pay more tax.
The cost of running EV is 8 times lower than petrol in Shenzhen, China.😅 I got a Mercedes EQB, the cost per 100km is around US$1.50 in Shenzhen. The charge per KW is US$0.1, of which$0.06 is service fee charged by the service provider, $0.04 for electricity.
They refuse to help the US lol we doing fine over here I mean prices have rose but it’s like a regular democrat term so we can deal with it pretty easily and Europe over there discussing banning use of cars 😂

Best way out of this for Europe is to develop Africa and do it fast. The geographical advantage and the availability of almost all desired minerals is in Africa after losing Russia

EU can buy the oil from USA like what Trump said
There is one thing EU can do fast. Cut the access of its air space and territorial waters for US military ships and planes and negotiate directly with Iran. That would bring fast results.
Why should Europe go to the strait of Hormuz to get their oil, and not to Russia? Worked well before the sanctions, and it obviously still works well for countries like India who don’t participate in the sanctions? If the US and Israel attacked Iran, then the bad guys are fighting the other bad guys – not our war.
US had what it ever planned for with the NATO expansion to the east. Fool and weaken Europe and weaken Russia.
And sell oil to Europe instead of Russia is a bonus.
Both lose. Why did the US explode Nord Stream so fast? All according to the plan and Europe playing along just fine.

Honestly, Iran should consider political options here with the people that didn’t attack them. Them raising the prices makes sense to rebuild. But they are also enriching their enemy this way at the expense of countries that didn’t attack them. Tbh, I think it is time that we step out of NATO and form a defense-and-non-aggression alliance without vetos, without the USA. We should collectively start boycotting the USA in solidarity with Iran, and in trade for their country being demolished.

Europe has 2 options buy from Russia or the US and wrigth now Europe is not on good terms with the US behind just using the US to defend them and not assist the US when they ask for assistance and on a issue that Europe had made clear with Iran nuclear programs even NATO and the UN has sanctions on Iran. So all talk and no bite
we should impose more taxes on people and then turn off and destroy all gas and coal and nuclear plants asap and then stare at the sky, this should resolve all our crises here in europe

EU needs to grow a pair. We going from one crisis to another for too much things. We need to find our own sources for things in the interim while alternatives are going mainstream. Clean is the right thing but we need not to be dependant on others in the interim. There is enough gas at least somewhere in the european continent to ease the pressure.
