As the title says, I randomly got an email from Amex with a 50k offer for BBP for 6k in 4 months. Is that a good offer comparatively? I have the vanilla Plat with the 175k offer last fall and have had the Gold for like 2-3 years now. I was going to get the VX as my catch all later this year but could use this instead. Any thought or suggestions is appreciated.

It’s the second highest possible offer. Highest is 75k. But for what it’s worth, 75k is really rare.
It’s a really solid card overall, easily one of the best $0 AF cards on the market IMO. It’s nice to have AmEx purchase protection and extended warranty policies, AmEx Offers, and AmEx customer service on your catch-all. And it’s nice to earn MR on a free credit card that can directly transfer points out to partners all on its own, and which can retain your MR balance should you ever need to cancel the high annual fee charge cards. But compared to the Venture X you won’t get the flashy Visa Infinite perks, the network is less broadly accepted, it has a 2.7% FTF, and its 2x earn rate is capped.
I’ve also been following for the Blue Business Plus, and my understanding is the 50k offer is a good offer. See this post: [https://www.reddit.com/r/amex/comments/1o3eop3/take_bbp_50k_offer_or_hold_out_for_75k_was_25k/](https://www.reddit.com/r/amex/comments/1o3eop3/take_bbp_50k_offer_or_hold_out_for_75k_was_25k/)
It seems like it’s an offer worth taking.
Yes. There is a unicorn 75K point offer but it’s rare. I’d take it, personally.
It’s a great way to “pivot” for more Amex points if you need them
