Just noticed BYDFi rolled out a new VIP system—7 tiers based on your 30-day futures volume or account balance.
Higher tiers mean lower fees and higher withdrawal limits. From what I saw, VIP 0 is around 500k withdrawals, and the top tier goes up to about 2M. Futures fees can drop to roughly 0.032% / 0.008%. Spot is still flat at 0.1% for everyone.
They also mention stuff like a dedicated manager, some perks, and a “VIP fast track” if you already have status on another platform.
Out of curiosity I compared it with a few other exchanges:
– Binance recently lowered the VIP entry—VIP 1 is like 5M volume or holding 5 BNB, and even regular accounts can withdraw up to 8M
– Bybit has more tiers (like 13). VIP 0 with KYC already gets around 1M daily withdrawal, and higher tiers go much higher
– OKX goes even further—top tier withdrawal limits are huge
– Gate has both VIP + market maker systems, and makers can even get rebates
Putting it side by side, BYDFi’s withdrawal limits feel a bit on the conservative side. Futures fees are okay, but the flat 0.1% spot fee doesn’t really stand out.
Anyone actually tried that cross-platform VIP upgrade? Does it really match your level, or is it more of a marketing thing?
What do you guys think of this VIP system and withdrawal limits?
