I believe most of us here heard or saw a video(link attached) of an Canadian-American businessmen claiming he bought whole damn BUILDING worth 65 MILLION DOLLARS using his credit card?!? And he also mentions that there is a 1% cashback on that Gold Royal Trust credit card he used, where he additionaly got 650.000$ cashback/discount.
Can anyone confirm is this true or how does this type of credit card limits exist?
Everybody here talking about max limits being 20k and stuff, but can someone please explain this? Thank you.

65 million Canadian dollars? So what that, like 10 us bucks? Not a big deal
I suppose it’s difficult to know the world of rich people 🙂 That’s really insane.
Guy’s not optimizing with only 1% CB /s
Delta airlines has an Amex with a $1.1 billion credit limit that they use for jet fuel and oil. That’s probably the highest limit ever.
Just double checked and I have cards over $20k limits and I’m not a millionaire, so I can imagine rich people have much higher limits
Bank of America has a $99,900 maximum total credit limit for those who qualify. If you’re ultra-wealthy, they might be able to increase that number via a special process, but $99.9k is the highest you can usually get through their normal credit limit process.
This limit is spread across all their cards.
I don’t know what the policies are for any other banks, I’ve just seen this one mentioned somewhere before.
A number of Amex cards don’t have a fixed limit. Approval of a charge is just dependent on “do we think they can pay for this?”
The Centurion black card, for example. If they know you’re a billionaire they aren’t gonna blink often.
