Wow. Who knew that oil was so important for everything?

Not a crisis for those pumping oil in the US – they are making money hand over fist right now and prices just keep going up. I have to wonder if this was the underlying intention here.

Civilization literally runs on four industrial materials; cement, steel, plastics and ammonia (fertilizer). All of which require immense fossil fuel inputs.
