I am currently living on a budget. I live alone and can only afford $500 in a month for food. I don’t eat out or order delivery. I make food 100% at home. But I feel like my grocery is expensive. This is my weekly pantry refill and it usually costs me around $100. And sometimes when I buy staples like rice or oil, it goes up to 150. I live in NYC and shops at Food Bazaar. It’s near my place and I used to think it is affordable. But now that my budget is tight, I feel like I need advice on how to cut my grocery cost. I live around Grand concourse, The bronx. I pay $50 for electricity. Another problem is my $50 phone bill. I appreciate any practical advice. Thank you
