I've had the CSP, CFU, Chase Freedom trio for a number of years but am certainly side-eyeing the downgrades to travel redemptions. Right now, we also have a Walmart OnePay Master Card that earns us 5% back since we have Walmart Plus, and we do most of our grocery/households shopping there. We also have a Verizon card that gives us 4% back on gas, groceries, and restaurants. Right now, we are still working and don't travel all that much (One big trip per year at roughly $5000).
Based on this, I'm wondering whether we should even bother continuing to use the CSP and CFU (i could downgrade the CSP to a zero fee card). We have a CMA at Fidelity, and almost all retirement investments there. We could use the CF for rotating categories when they're worth it.
We expect to retire at the end of 2028 and travel more. Maybe at that point we could reconsider using a travel card.

You’re already Fidelity customers so this is an easy choice. It’s a good standby card regardless of what else is in your current/future lineup. The ability for your partner to be a co-owner instead of authorized user is a nice perk to.
Fidelity over CFU for sure. CFU is a bad card.
CSP still has value with dining, travel and travel protections.
But yes, get rid of the CFU.
Fidelity visa is a simple no brainer for across the board CB. Can’t go wrong with it. Even if you don’t use any other card for higher rewards, you are still getting no less than 2%.
Yeah with a huge chunk of spend that can go on the Verizon and Walmart card at a much better return, keeping chase around for the cfu 1.5% pittance isn’t worth it.
Get the fidelity and dump chase.
A USB cash+ or elan max cash for utilities + cable internet and streaming, or gym, etc can be quite nice as well.
If you want travel protections etc, get the fairwinds fcu visa signature for 5x travel and theme parks 3x dining, 2x everything else, primary cdw, and 1.2-1.5cpp portal or travel gift card redemptions.
