Hello guys! I just wanna ask if there are great scholarships for an economics student here in the Philippines, preferably one that can support the living expenses?

So, a little backstory, I just got in on the only state university in our region that offers BS Economics. I was lucky enough to be qualified and study on their campus. The problem is, I live in a different city (approx. 2-hour bus ride), so I have to rent there. I have found rents that are like less than 5k pesos, and honestly, I'm not very picky about it, as long as it's a walking distance to school and I have somewhere to sleep in I know I'll survive. Here's the thing, my parents can't finance my living expenses. I was devastated too, when the scholarships I applied to only give out semestral allowances. And those scholarships that cover your living allowance do not have the course economics as their priority. So I don't have anything and/or anyone that can actually support me to go pursue the course and live there.

I'm thinking of being a working student too, but honestly it's known to be harder when you're a student in this particular state u, because unlike other colleges it doesn't have a flexible school hours, and the pressure here is double. (I think if my work is remote, then I can definitely pursue with this plan, which is easier said than done, I know). So yeah, this plan won't be easy, but I'm still actively seeking jobs right now.

Of course, I'm trying to find other universities and courses, but honestly? It's so hard to let go of this opportunity. I got qualified for a great uni, with free tuition, and blessed with my dream course (it aligns more with the kind of career paths I'm interested in the future). So it's a huge understatement for me to just say that I'm heartbroken if I ever let go of this opportunity.

    Please help, and respect post.
