Just off with the online chat agent with Citi who successfully product changed my Double Cash card to a second Custom Cash.

Was approved for the DC in late February, met the SUB spend, received the bonus payout and paid off one statement balance to date. Was surprised I was able to do this so soon, but very glad it went through!

Already have a Fidelity Visa as my 2% catch-all, so my goal was to have x2 Custom Cash cards for the categories: Grocery and Dining.

Worth a shot if you want to try to PC sooner rather than later, but YMMV.

nice timing on that pc, most people wait way longer but seems like citi is being more flexible lately

having two custom cash cards for grocery and dining is solid strategy, way better than keeping the double cash when you already got the fidelity covering 2% on everything else. those 5% categories hit different with two cards maximizing them

Is it better to have the first custom cash through applying and the product change another card? I have a Simplicity from a balance transfer from years ago, if I PC that now- can I still apply for the second one?
