For bathroom cleaning I have found Sprayway glass cleaner is far better than Windex. It does a better job and is more economical

For toilets, Clorox with bleach is working just fine.

Now, I’m looking for a spray type cleaner for general surfaces and floors other than Scrubbing Bubbles.

Something that is readily available and less expensive. I prefer it not be an aerosol can.

    What do you all recommend??

    Alternative to Scrubbing Bubbles?

This is my all purpose hard surface cleaner. I have found a combo of blue Dawn (the name brand stuff), white vinegar, and a bit of water in a spray bottle does the trick. Works well on everything, including nasty soap scum. Just let it sit for a few minutes. Good multiple squeezes of Dawn, then mostly vinegar, and a bit of water. Half Dawn and half vinegar for the worst jobs.

I use diluted Dawn dish soap in a spray bottle for every surface in my home, even glass. For things that need a deeper clean, like the tile in my shower, I will also use diluted distilled vinegar in a spray bottle.

If you are on well water, or have hard water, make sure you use filtered water. Also make sure the Dawn is very diluted or else it leaves a film, the water in the bottle should just have a very light blue hue.
