My subscriptions:

    AMC Movie A list

Panera Bread Sip Cup – This is gonna be hard. I'm there almost everyday to read or play chess on my laptop or phone.

Planetfitness – I mainly run so I'll just go outside

Gmail – just gotta delete a lot of emails so it goes beneath 1gb

    Apple 99c

Any advice? I think Panera bread sip cup would be the hardest.

Also I'm not sure if the Apple 99c one is possible? After all they have my iPhone backups.

Planning to go subscription free as an experiment

The only sub I have is a cheap gym ($25). Otherwise if there is not a one time purchase option I am not using it.

EDIT: Water is free, why do you need a sub for that?

      I have two subscriptions:

      – home internet

      – VPN

even my phone data is not a subscription lol

So you may or may not want my advice, which is “ditch the subscriptions” 😉

If you’re actually there every day, this one is probably worth it?

I think the key to this one is to have a solid alternative plan. Make a pitcher of lemonade at home, put it in a reusable, insulated to-go cup, and hang out at the public park instead. Or even the library if your local allows lidded drinks.

Unethical advice: use new email addresses to sign up for free trials of Panera.

    5. I have

      phone bill

planet fitness (that I need to cancel)

      that’s it.

      It’s nice.

    6. i’ve been an amc a-list member since 2018, and it has been one of the cheaper forms of entertainment especially living in a HCOL city like Los Angeles. I see movies at least 3-4xa month, and I like getting out of the house. I also have the panera sip cup membership and go there at least 2-3x a week. Cheaper than starbucks when their iced tea is $3-$5 when the panera sip program is $15 a month.

The Panera sip club is a very good deal if you are close to one throughout the day. I like that they let you use it every two hours. Regular price of it is good but ask if other people in your family can sign up when they have the $3 trials. I think I went about a year without having to buy coffee and creamer.

    8. hardest thing to do this with is music

can’t really get all the songs you want for less than 12 a month

panera – just make your own coffee and really make it well, one cup of coffee of folgers or maxwell at a good price is like cents per cup. One cup a day will run you at 3 bucks a month with reusable cups, a little more if you like cream

for the apple one just back up everything you need to on a separate service, think about it, backups are just there for what’s sensitive and what you need to keep

google photos gives you a certain amount of space and microsoft onedrive does as well. You can also keep stuff on your laptop and a spare flash drive you have lying around though be careful b/c they can go bad if they’re too old

for movies, check out your local library. If they have access to hoopla you can digitally rent out movies for free

    9. I never pay full price for Panera sip club. Cancel, delete your account and then use one of the available discounts to enroll. I am on a $5 a month plan for five months. I’ll cancel for a month and find another deal. That way, it’s not forever just a month.
I understand that I can get drinks for much cheaper but I enjoy the sip club so my rule is never to spend more than $6 a month on it. Sometimes zero isn’t the best choice if there’s value in it for you, but be realistic about finding the best way to save money on the things that make you happy.
