Ground beef used to be my cheaper meal prep meat. Now it’s 2nd most expensive. I feel like I have to opt for sausage more in recipes just to save a few bucks

I know it sounds like a no-brainer, but from a curiosity standpoint, I don’t appreciate enough how much environmental conditions like droughts can affect supply and demand of something I don’t think of everyday like beef.
It’s a shame that it’s times like these that get me thinking hard about what I consume, but at least it’s a silver lining.
