For some context: I started this journey in 2020 with this card as a secured $200 limit. About two years later, it finally graduated to unsecured and I got a pity auto-CLI to $301 shortly after.

Ever since then, I’ve been stuck. I was convinced this card was permanently "bucketed." I’ve probably been denied 50+ times for a manual CLI over the years. Meanwhile, I’ve built up a solid profile with other cards now sitting at $25k+ limits, but Capital One just wouldn't budge… until now.

I’ve been lurking here, reading all the tips and tricks, and I seriously applied the advice over the last year (high utilization + paying in full). It finally paid off with an auto-CLI in my sleep!

Huge thank you to this community for the help. One question for the veterans here: How long should I wait before I try to push for the next CLI? Should I wait 6 months before trying the manual request again?

Only took 6 years and 50+ denials, but we finally made it to four digits
